To help address the large numbers attending Fleming Park, we have also now booked Wickham Community Centre for Friday the 27th Feb, from 4 till 7 in the evening. Wickham hall is roughly double the size of Knowle, so there should be ample room for everyone to fly either heli's or fixed wing. Prices for 3 hours, will be anywhere between £5 and £10, depending on numbers?

"This Wednesday 17, will be the last indoor before the Christmas break, as both Xmas and New Years eve fall on the Wednesday. Normal flying will resume on the 7 January - Hope everyone has plenty of new toys to bring"

Sue has kindly organised the rental of Fleming Park Leisure Centre in Eastleigh for an indoor flying session. The event will be on 24th January, 6-9:00pm and assuming we get 15 people attending, will cost £10 per head.
This is slightly more expensive than the usual church venue, but it is for 3 hours flying in a much larger space. With this much room, noone has an excuse not to fly an indoor plane such as a Shockie.
Sue needs money up front, so please confirm your attendance to me or Gaz immediately along with £10. We will give out a receipt for your payment.
This is not a pay on the night event due to the fact Sue has already paid for the venue out of her own pocket. If we get more than 15 attend, we will refund any excess cash... or put it into a kitty for the first round (after the flying of course).

The Christmas meal is organised for 7:30pm on 18th December 2008 at the Water Margin Chinese restaurant in North Baddesley. So far we have 14 members and partners confirmed as coming.
Let me know as soon as possible if you wish to add to this number... I need to let the restaurant know of seating changes.
